We Make Colorful Designs, But We Strive for Transparency
You can’t drive through Mount Dora, FL, or Lady Lake, FL, without running into dozens of signs, decals or banners. Vehicle wraps aren’t quite as common, but they’re on just about every police car and contractor van you come across.
Despite this, most people don’t know much about making a wrap or sign or what goes into the creation process. We at Hunter have tried to clear things up with a helpful FAQ.
- What type of vinyl do you use for vehicle wraps?
We only use 3M & Avery Dennison wrap vinyl. Both brands produce high-quality material that will stand up well to the harsh Florida sun.
- Can you wrap a car with paint scratches, dents or rust?
Small scratches and dents can usually be wrapped over with no problems. Larger dents, rust and peeling paint or clear coat can’t. It’s usually best if you bring the vehicle by for us to inspect if you are not sure.
- How long do vehicle wraps last?
Most of the time, a wrap will last three to five years. The vehicle’s exposure to the sun can affect the wrap’s lifespan.
- Can my wrap go through a car wash?
You can use an automatic car wash, but we recommend hand washing your wrap
- How much do wraps cost?
Each wrap is a custom job, so costs can vary widely from case to case. Major factors are the size of the vehicle and the complexity of the design. The last thing we want to do is leave anyone with sticker shock, which is why we offer free estimates. Give us a call to get the process started.

- What is the largest you can print?
Our printers can print up to 64 inches wide, but we wrap things much larger by printing in panels. Each panel is aligned side by side with a small overlap to cover larger areas like box trucks, walls or floors.
- What resolution is acceptable for submitted artwork?
The lowest resolution we recommend at full scale is 72dpi. DPI stands for dot per inch; the higher the dpi, the higher the resolution.
